On this page we inform about the availability of the DomBuddy.com online services.
Domain Name Availability Check
Method 1: Query WHOIS-Server or alternative service offered by registry (default)
The WHOIS check service is working normally.
However, while we rebuild our WHOIS services, you may receive errors when querying names with certain TLDs where the registry has a rate limit in effect.
This is currently the case for .org, .de and co.uk and likely for some other TLDs as well.
When a domain name cannot be checked, you will see a “Check manually” link when using the online client or “N/A” with a question mark icon when using the Desktop Client.
We are working on a method to overcome these restrictions.
Method 2: Check if any DNS records exist (some registered users only)
The DNS records check service is working normally.
Keywords Discovery Service
This service is still in beta and available only to users of the Desktop Client. It may not work from time to time while maintenance is being performed. No maintenance is scheduled at the time.
