Web-Based Domain Name Generator
The web-based domain name generator on DomBuddy.com is a comprehensive domain name search tool that consists of different modules:
- Random Syllables - generates domain names by randomly combining common syllables for different languages and/or themes
- Keywords - combines words taken from selected keyword lists randomly and optionally adds prefixes or suffixes
- Premium - finds domain names based on actual search phrases in popular search engines
- Idea Finder - combines custom keywords randomly, optionally adds custom prefixes or suffixes and searches for synonyms
- Dictionary - generates random dictionary words, optionally combines those with prefixes and suffixes
- Bulk Check - checks up to 50 domain names for availability
- All Extensions - checks multiple extensions of a given name
- Quick Domain Search - checks a single domain name for availability
Desktop Client
The desktop client supports all features of the web-based domain name search suite. In addition to this base set of features, the desktop client is the place where we test new features before we make them available to the web-based tool's users.
Like the web-based search suite, the desktop client has the following features:
- Random Syllables (“Random”) - generates domain names by randomly combining common syllables for different languages and/or themes
- Keywords (“Keywords”) - combines words taken from selected keyword lists randomly and optionally adds prefixes or suffixes
- Premium (“Premium”) - finds domain names based on actual search phrases in popular search engines
- Idea Finder (“Combine”) - combines custom keywords randomly, optionally adds custom prefixes or suffixes and searches for synonyms; the desktop client is also capable of mixing custom keywords with pre-defined keyword lists
- Dictionary (“Dictionary”) - generates random dictionary words, optionally combines those with prefixes and suffixes
- Bulk Check (“Bulk”) - checks up to 50 domain names for availability
- All Extensions (“All TLDs”) - checks multiple extensions of a given name
- Quick Domain Search (“Single”) - checks a single domain name for availability
The following additional features are part of the desktop generator as well:
- Sedo Search (“Sedo”) - checks the Sedo Marketplace for domain names on auction/for sale
